Just came across this new meme I found, and I think it's very timely that I had a good laugh this week when our pre-school and elementary graduation photos from 1978 and 1984 were shared online in preparation for our alumni homecoming this December.
This photo was taken when I was 6 years old, March 1978.
This is my Sepia Saturday post and my first! Find more at Sepia Saturday 80

June is the month we celebrate Father's Day. This year 2011, the day falls on June 19.
Father's Day marks fatherhood to honor and commemorate our fathers and forefathers. It is a great time to let your father know you haven't forgotten him and also show him how much you value and respect him.
I personally cannot relate that much, having lost my father at a very young age. I have not known a father's love and protection. Thankfully, though, I have had uncles on my mother's side show me somehow how a father supports, guides and cares for his children. Yet often I wondered what my father's love really is, if he had lived long enough.
Many years in Father's Day celebrations later, I realize that indeed God's love as our Almighty Father is more than the love our earthly father ever could give. It really is amazing to know that God fills the emptiness of having grown up with no father or even with a distant father.
To all fathers, here is our Almighty Father's example. Happy Father's Day to you all!
1. What is was the last piece of candy that you ate?
Safari Chocolate Bar is as good as the well-known chocolate candy bars but costs less.
2. Do you "read" in the bathroom?
Nope. Not my thing anymore.
3. I can't stand when someone _________?
Lies about a story. Especially if I know exactly what really happened because I was also
there, and the person lying maybe "forgot" that I know the truth and ignores me to just continue with his/her story.
I am always for the truth, no matter how ugly or unbecoming the truth is, I believe that someone should just tell the truth. It will make all things better in the very end.
Now you got in my thoughts there, Hannibal Lecter :)
4. Do you do daily, weekly or monthly grocery shopping?
Weekly, preferably. We used to grocery shop daily this last summer, but
now that school has officially begun and we are busy, weekly shopping is imperative.
